The Award Ceremony of the 66th Pula Film Festival will take place at 9.30 p.m. on Saturday 20 July. Following the ceremony, the visitors will be able to enjoy in a special music evening dedicated to the great Croatian musician Oliver Dragojević.
At the Arena in Pula, where Oliver Dragojević often liked to perform, the audience of this year’s Pula Film Festival will be able to watch a documentary film and a recording of a concert by the beloved musician on the impressive big screen of the most beautiful cinema under the stars.
The documentary film was made from material recorded prior and during the anniversary concert OLIVER’s 70 with the Zagreb Philharmonic. Oliver himself is the host of the film, giving his most intimate interview ever, while his co-workers bring the viewers closer to the great, always modest and simple Oliver. Branko Drakulić and Lea Dekleva are the authors of the film A Small Story of a Great Musician and His Last Concert, after which the audience in Pula will be able to enjoy the recording of Oliver’s last concert from Arena Zagreb, held on 11 March 2017 with the Zagreb Philharmonic and many musicians (Stjepan Hauser, Matija Dedić, Antonio Serrano, and Elvis Stanić), conducted by maestro Alan Bjelinski.
