Gaja Möderndorfer (1982) completed her studies of Applied Arts (BA in Animation and Photography) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and Film Directing at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana. Nellie is her first short film.
