Synopsis
Cosimo, Italo and Vanda are children of just ten years of age with dreams, the desire to discover the world and the light-heartedness of childhood trapped by the Second World War. While the entire nation falters, the three, in the face of the disappearance of a friend, have no doubts: they must leave for a rescue mission. Their escape will start a second, desperate rescue mission, that of a nun and a convalescent military who immediately put themselves on their trail. Equipped with the unconsciousness that is the heritage of every child, a friendship that becomes stronger from day to day and a mysterious map, Cosimo, Italo and Vanda carry on their mission with stubbornness, between reckless adventures and the desire for freedom paid at a high price.
