Synopsis
Branko, alias Floyd, is a young man who still lives with his parent in the suburbs of Belgrade. His favourite pastimes are racing cars and women. Floyd dreams of getting promoted to a higher class in racing, which means he has to win in the race on Saturday. Alongside his two passions, Floyd spends most of his time avoiding military service.

About the director
Goran Marković (Belgrade, 1946) is a Serbian director and screenwriter. He graduated in film directing from FAMU in Prague in 1970. He directed his first feature film, Special Education, in 1977. He then directed films focused on social issues National Class (1979), Jacks of All Trades (1980), Variola vera (1982), and Taiwan Canasta (1985). In 1987 he directed Déjà vu, which most critics consider his best film, and which won the Grand Golden Arena at Pula. He then directed the films The Meeting Point (1989), Tito and I (1992), and Burlesque Tragedy (1995). After several documentary films, he directed the drama The Cordon (2003), the drama The Tour (2008), and the comedy Falsifier (2013). He appeared as actor Lordan Zafranović’s Sunday and Velimir Žilinik’s Pretty Women Walking Through the City, and the short film Apotekarica directed by Srđan Karanović.
