Synopsis

Vigo is a young warehouse worker who spends his days at a job he hates, listening to his co-workers’ small-time schemes. Outside of work he juggles debt, cares for his younger sister, and struggles with his single mother. When he meets Marija, a student from a privileged background, their relationship briefly opens up a life beyond his reach. But as problems grow, Vigo turns to lies and theft.

About the director

Moreno Bogdan (Zagreb, 2005) is a Croatian film director and a student of film and TV directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He began working in film through the Blank Film Incubator, where his debut short film Dobar tek won the Youth Film Award. His second short film, Osuda, received the award for Best Croatian Short Film at the Four River Film Festival, as well as Best Editing at the Filmski Front festival in Novi Sad. In 2025, he directed the short documentary 5 stvari koje ti moram reći.
