Synopsis
After their mother’s funeral, estranged siblings Nikola and Saša spend three days in their childhood home, clearing out their mother’s belongings and preparing the house for sale. In an attempt to postpone the inevitable, Nikola sabotages the process, while Saša questions how well he cared for their mother while she was living abroad. Failing to communicate as adults, they regress into childhood—making everything even worse.

About the director
Filip Peruzović (Zagreb, 1986) is a Croatian director and screenwriter. He graduated in film directing from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in 2015. He directed the feature TV film Walk the Dog, with screenplay by Tomislav Zajec, which won the Croatian Actor’s Guild Award for Best drama in 2015 and the Award for Best Male Performance in 2016 (Franjo Dijak). His short film Coffee with Jam won Best Short Film at Pula Film Festival in 2013, and his omnibus Deep Cuts won the Golden Arena for Best Cinematography at Pula Film Festival and the Best New Talent Award at Valetta Film Festival in 2019. He wrote and directed the short film Little Waves, which won the Best Croatian Short Film Award at Cinehill Film Festival in 2023 and the Best Cinematography Award at Shots Festival in Slovenj Gradec.
