Synopsis
Roman Novotny, once a respected screenwriter, is now a forgotten author who reluctantly accepts a job at the bizarre tourist resort Simula Peninsula. There, under the guidance of the enigmatic Doctor Doppler, a strange experiment is underway: a simulated “cinematic” holiday resort where guests play pre-written roles, and screenwriters — the “operators” — create their stories on a daily basis.

About the director
Dalibor Barić was born in 1974. He is a director of experimental and animated films, in his works often exploring traditional genres such as science fiction and horror. Using found footage as his material and collage as his preferred technique, he creates films that re-examine artistic practices in the digital age as well as ideas about authenticity, simulation/replication and appropriation.
