Synopsis
This documentary film follows the life and career of one of the most important singer-songwriters
of the former Yugoslavia, Zoran Predin. The film reveals his journey from his youth in Maribor, where he started playing music, to the height of his fame with the band Lačni Franz and his solo career, which made him an icon of the music scene.

About the director
Slobodan Maksimović (Sarajevo, 1975) is a Slovenian director and screenwriter. He graduated in film directing from the AGRFT in Ljubljana. His films were screened at various international film festivals and won 47 awards. The most prominent films in his filmography include feature films Thanks for Sunderland (2012), Nika (2016), and Beanie (2022), documentary film Technology for the People (2014) and Praslovan (2024), and the short film The Invisible Hand of Adam Smith (2017). The TV series The Cases of Inspector Vrenko (2021-2024) was the most watched crime series on national television in Slovenia.
