About the director
Mike Marzuk (Landsberg am Lech, 1969) is a German film director, screenwriter, musician and film editor. In 2006, he directed, wrote, edited, co-produced and co-composed the low- budget film You Know What Would Be Awesome…?! (2007), which won him the New Faces Award for Best Debut Film in 2008. In 2007 he directed the youth film Summer, which was seen by over a million viewers. He directed all five films in the film series The Famous Five (2012-2018) and wrote the screenplay for the fourth and fifth installments.
