Synopsis

Photographer Marko shows his friend a fragment of film he shot on the street, where he accidentally captured a beautiful young woman he now wants to find. It turns out the woman is Vera, a ballerina who lives alone with her mother. Marko first runs into her by chance in a café, and later again at an art gallery. A relationship gradually develops between them.

About the directors

Matjaž Klopčič (1934–2007) was a Slovene film director and screenwriter. He began his filmmaking career with short and experimental films, developing an early and distinctive authorial style. Among his most notable works are On Paper Wings (1967), Fear (1974), The Widowhood of Karolina Žašler (1976), and My Dad, the Socialist Kulak (1987). He received numerous awards, including Golden Arenas at the Pula Film Festival, as well as recognitions at the Cannes and Berlin film festivals.
