Synopsis
Two young office workers, also amateur rowers, lead ordinary everyday lives while trying to bring more excitement and fulfillment into their everyday lives. The more introverted and sensitive of the two falls in love with an attractive woman.

About the director
Ante Peterlić (1936–2007) was a Croatian film scholar, director, and university professor. He graduated in English and Yugoslav studies in Zagreb and early on dedicated himself to film theory and criticism. As a director, he made the feature film Accidental Life (1969), stylistically close to the French New Wave. For many years he taught film theory and history at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, where he helped establish film studies in Croatia. He was the editor-in-chief of the Film Encyclopedia and the author of numerous scholarly books and studies on cinema. He became widely known to the public through the television series What Is Film? He received numerous lifetime achievement awards and is regarded as one of the key founders of Croatian film studies.
