Pula Film Festival Offering Excellent Music Programme Every Night at Festival Centre
Over the seven days of the 73rd Pula Film Festival, every night at 11 p. m., the courtyard of the Festival Centre (Home of Croatian Veterans, Leharova 2) will be the location of concerts by Partibrejkers, Sakupljači perja, Sara Renar, Let 3, and Ki Klop, followed by DJ sets. As is already tradition, DJ Mario Kovač will close the Festival and undoubtedly create a party not to be missed. All concerts are free

Groovoteka is a well-known DJ collective playing funk, soul, and jazz, founded in 2017 in Pula. The collective is headed by Matko Banković, whose stage name is M. Funkovich and who was later joined by Đino Višković, better known as Jinxie Grooves.

From their first great successes with hits such as Ulični hodač, Ona živi na brdu, Hiljadu godina, and Kreni prema meni, followed by anthological collaboration on the anti-war project Rimtutituki, to exceptional performances with Motorhead and Chuck Berry, Partibrejkers have left an indelible mark not only in music, but in society on the whole. Led by charismatic Zoran Kostić Cane, the band has been synonymous with uncompromising rock and roll for over four decades.

This gypsy jazz band and its rich instrumental sound offer entertainment with a wide range of emotions and bringing the audience closer to all kinds and variations of gypsy music, from ethno to jazz. Robert Vnuk on guitar, Ivan Gazibara on bass, Marko First on violin, Josip Mimica on clarinet, Danijel Kadijević on drums, Antonio Geček on trumpet, and Mladen Kosovec on accordion.

Sara Renar is an awarded Zagreb-based multimedia artist and one of the most recognisable names of the new generation on the regional songwriters scene. Her work is characterised by a unique blend of poetry, electronic sound, and powerful stage presence, which explores the boundaries of music, text, and sound. She has released seven albums, and wrote the lyrics and music for all of the songs.

Let 3 is an alternative rock band from Rijeka, founded by Damir Martinović Mrle and Zoran Prodanović Prlja, the only two permanent band members to this day. Their original approach to rock music, as well as their unprecedented, controversial, and sometimes obscene performances have made them one of the most popular rock bands on the territory of former Yugoslavia.

DJ JINXIE GROOVES
Ki Klop is a Zagreb-based disco pop trio and a new face on the regional alt scene. Ki Klop are Luka Žigolić on guitar and vocals, Jakov Ramničer on bass, and Laura Tandarić on drums and vocals. Ki Klop has become a reactor of raw energy pulling everything in front of the stage into a black disco hole.

The Festival is traditionally closed by DJ Kovač, whose excellent music guaranteed a good time. From old rock hits and punk, to alternative and pop music – he is no stranger to all kinds of music, and anybody who has been to at least one of his sets will not be disappointed this time either.
