PULICA – WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN

La Radionica – LIVE-ACTION FILM WORKSHOP

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This film workshop comprises a short theoretical introduction to film production, film language, and getting to know the necessary technical equipment, as well as creative work from the initial idea to the making of the short film. Other than working on the film, interested participants will also be introduced to the basics of music production, or the concept, production, and making of the film score (soundtrack). The workshop aims at providing basic knowledge and skills in music production, reflecting on the role and importance of music and sound in film, and creating a film music theme to be used in the film made during the workshop.

ABOUT THE MENTORS
The mentors are the creative representatives of the New Vodnjan Film Wave, an informal film collective from Vodnjan: Michele Bulešić, Teo Morosin, Marino Morosin and Eric Ušić.

POSTER WORKSHOP – My Film Poster – Story Design

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This creative workshop is aimed at children aged 7 to 12 and will allow participants to explore the world of design by making their own film poster. Using play, conversation, and artistic expression, children will learn how to convey the atmosphere and the story of the film in a visual way. After watching films in the Pulica children’s programme at the Festival, the children will sketch their poster ideas, and then use various techniques, from drawing to collage, to create their poster for the film they had watched. The goal is not to make a perfect drawing, but to develop visual thinking, sense of composition, and confidence in expressing their ideas.

ABOUT THE MENTOR
